FOUNDED IN 1889 AS A COLLEGE PREPARATORY BOARDING SCHOOL, HOOSAC CONTINUES ITS COMMITTMENT TO THE CORE BELIEFS OF THE FOUNDER, DR. EDWARD DUDLEY TIBBITS: TO EDUCATE THE WHOLE STUDENT, ACADEMICALLY, ATHLETICALLY, SOCIALLY AND SPIRITUALLY, AND THAT THE SCHOOL SHOULD REMAIN OF SUCH SIZE THAT EVERY STUDENT WOULD RECEIVE FULL CARE AND ATTENTION.
