THE PURPOSE OF THE INSTITUTE FOR FOOD AND DEVELOPMENT POLICY (FOOD FIRST) IS TO ELIMINATE THE INJUSTICES THAT CAUSE HUNGER. OUR GRAND STRATEGY IS TO CHANGE CONSCIOUSNESS, AWAKENING PEOPLE TO THE POSSIBILITY OF, AND THEIR OWN POWER TO BRING ABOUT SOCIAL CHANGE.
