THE ORGANIZATION AIMS TO CONNECT, NURTURE, AND RESTORE CHILDREN AND FAMILIES IN THE COMMUNITIES THEY SERVE. THE ORGANIZATION ACCOMPLISHES THIS MISSION THROUGH THEIR FOSTER CARE AND ADOPTION PROGRAM AS WELL AS THEIR CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER. THE FOSTER CARE AND ADOPTION PROGRAM RECRUITS, TRAINS, AND LICENSES FAMILIES TO CARE FOR CHILDREN IN THE FOSTER CARE SYSTEM AND PROVIDES ONGOING CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO THESE FAMILIES. THE CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER IS A COLLABORATIVE, TRAUMA INFORMED APPROACH TO ASSESSING, INVESTIGATING, AND PROSECUTING CASES OF CHILD ABUSE IN MIAMI COUNTY. THE CHILD ADVOCACY CENTER WILL SUPPORT CHILDREN AND FAMILIES TO OPTIMIZE SAFETY, PROMOTE HEALING, AND PURSUE JUSTICE FOR CHILD VICTIMS.
