JOHNS HOPKINS PEDIATRICS AT HOME, INC. IS A NON-PROFIT HOME HEALTH AGENCY LICENSED IN THE STATE OF MARYLAND TO PROVIDE HOME HEALTH SERVICES TO PATIENTS IN THEIR HOMES OR OTHER PLACES OF RESIDENCE. SERVICES INCLUDE NURSING, HOME HEALTH AID, PHYSICAL, OCCUPATIONAL SPEECH THERAPY AND SOCIAL WORK DIRECTED TO PEDIATRIC PATIENTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES MEDICAL SUPPLIES AND MEDICAL EQUIPMENT TO INFANTS AND MINOR-AGE CHILDREN. PATIENTS ARE ACCEPTED FOR CARE REGARDLESS OF AGE, RACE, SEX, NATIONAL ORIGIN OR ABILITY TO PAY, PROVIDED THAT THE ADMISSION CRITERIA GUIDELINES ARE MET. THE ORGANIZATION PROVIDES EDUCATIONAL AND INFORMATIONAL MATERIALS TO THE HEALTH CARE COMMUNITY AND GENERAL PUBLIC. CLINICAL STAFF ROUTINELY PARTICIPATE AS VOLUNTEERS IN PUBLIC FORUMS, HEALTHCARE FAIRS AND OTHER PUBLIC EDUCATIONAL EVENTS.
