THE HOME IS PART OF THE INTERNATIONAL CONGREGATION OF THE LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR, WHICH WAS FOUNDED IN FRANCE IN 1839 & SERVES THE ELDERLY IN 31 COUNTRIES. THE ST. MARTIN'S HOME, WHICH PROVIDES NURSING & RESIDENTIAL CARE FOR THE (SEE SCHEDULE O FOR CONTINUATION)NEEDY ELDERLY, IS INDEPENDENTLY OPERATED AND MANAGED BY THE SISTERS AND INDEPENDENT BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE LITTLE SISTERS OF THE POOR, A CATHOLIC RELIGIOUS ORDER.
