Mission
THE NATIONAL SUMMER SCHOOL INITIATIVE, INC. WORKS WITH SCHOOL DISTRICTS, CHARTER SCHOOLS, AND INDEPENDENT SCHOOLS ACROSS THE COUNTRY TO DEVELOP AND ADMINISTER HIGH-QUALITY REMOTE, HYBRID, AND IN-PERSON LEARNING PROGRAMS AND CURRICULA FOR UNDERSERVED CHILDREN AND YOUTH. TO SUPPORT THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PROGRAMS, NSSI ALSO PROVIDES VIRTUAL PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES FOR TEACHERS AND ADMINISTRATORS.
