THE ORGANIZATION WAS CREATED FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENCOURAGING RESEARCH, EDUCATION, MEDICAL AND ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT IN THE PACIFIC NORTHWEST REGION BY PROVIDING A MEANS TO ACCESS NEXT GENERATION INTERNET SERVICES AND CAPABILITIES TO PARTICIPANTS.
