Mission

The mission of Permian Basin Adult Literacy Center (PBALC) is to develop the literacy skills of adults so they can achieve their goals, improve their lives, and impact our community. Our program addresses English Language Learning and Adult Education & Literacy. Our target clientele are adults over the age of 18 who need to develop their reading and writing skills, English language skills, or other literacy skills. We create an individualized achievement plan for each student through enrollment, assessment, and goal-setting. PBALC strives to provide an inclusive and adaptable program that encourages students to commit to pursuing their individual literacy goals.
