SHELTER OF THE CROSS IS A NOT-FOR-PROFIT CORPORATION WHOSE MISSION IS TO PROVIDE TRANSITIONAL HOUSING FOR MEN AND WOMEN 58 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER WHO ARE HOMELESS OR AT RISK OF BECOMING HOMELESS. THE ORGANIZATION ALSO REFERS CLIENTS TO NEEDED SOCIAL SERVICES AND ENTITLEMENT PROGRAMS, AND ASSISTS IN FINDING PERMANENT HOUSING FOR ITS CLIENTS.
