SHC FOUNDATION EXISTS TO SUPPORT SOCIETY FOR HANDICAPPED CITIZENS OF MEDINA COUNTY, INC., WHICH PARTNERS WITH INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES AND THEIR FAMILIES TO PROVIDE A FULL RANGE OF SERVICES TO ASSIST THEM IN LIVING A QUALITY OF LIFE IN THEIR CHOSEN COMMUNITY. IT IS THE GOAL OF THESE ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE OPPORTUNITIES FOR FULL INCLUSION FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH DISABILITIES, TO BE ACTIVE ADVOCATES, TO BE INNOVATIVE IN THE FIELD OF DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES AND TO ADDRESS THE GAPS IN SERVICES IN OUR COMMUNITIES.
