Mission
THE SHENANDOAH AREA AGENCY ON AGING (SAAA) PROVIDES AND COORDINATESPROGRAMS AND SERVICES WHICH PROMOTE THE INDEPENDENCE, DIGNITY, HEALTHAND WELL BEING OF SENIOR AND DISABLED PERSONS. SAAA SERVES THE COUNTIES OF CLARKE, FREDERICK, PAGE, SHENANDOAH, WARREN AND THE CITY OF WINCHESTER. UNDER THE OLDER AMERICANS ACT, SAAA PROVIDES SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY FOR PERSONS AGE 60 AND OLDER WITH AN EMPHASIS ON LOW INCOME, FRAIL AND MINORITY OLDER PERSONS.
