The organization's mission is to teach deaf children to talk and to teach others to do it too. It provides spoken language therapy, audiologic management and educational services to children with hearing loss from birth to early elementary years. Children with hearing loss learn to talk and experience success in their lives both in school and in the world at large. The focus of the curriculum is in accelerating development of spoken language and, when the children are ready, to help them learn the same subjects as their hearing age-mates so they can catch up with their hearing peers and be full participants in the mainstream. The consistent, customized instruction, combined with high expectations and standards, results in high achievement for the students.
