EDUCATING THE PUBLIC ABOUT EATING HEALTHY, LOCALLY GROWN/PRODUCED FOOD; ENGAGING LOW-INCOME AND LIMITED RESOURCE INDIVIDUALS/FAMILIES TO EDUCATE, INFORM AND ENCOURAGE THEM ABOUT HEALTHY LOCALLY GROWN FOOD AND TO ENCOURAGE THEM TO EAT HEALTHY AND UTLILIZE PUBLIC FOOD PROGRAMS AT FARMERS' MARKETS AND RETAIL OUTLETS; TO EDUCATE, PROVIDE TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE AND TRAINING TO FARMERS, MARKET MANAGERS, VALUE CHAIN COORDINATORS, AND OTHER INTERESTED PERSONS WHO WORK WITH FOOD SYSTEMS THROUGHOUT NEW MEXICO; TO SUPPORT CONTINUED DEVELOPMENT OF NEW MEXICO'S LOCAL FOOD SYSTEM BY CULTIVATING STRONG NETWORKS OF SUPPORT THAT INCLUDE FARMERS, FARMERS' MARKETS, AND OTHER RETAIL OUTLETS THAT SUPPORT NEW MEXICO AGRICULTURAL PRODUCERS, HEALTH CLINICS AND EDUCATORS, COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS, ETC.; SUPPORT REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURAL PRACTICES; AND TO ADVOCATE FOR THE INTERESTS OF NEW MEXICO AGRICULTURE PRODUCERS AND OTHERS INTERESTED IN CREATING HEALTHY NEW MEXICO COMMUNITIES.
