Transformations is a grassroots community organization formed by and for trans women of color. We are brave and innovative in our vision to create safer, thriving communities for trans people of color. As we remain committed to serving transgender, nonbinary, gender-expansive, and gender nonconforming (TGNC) young people, we pivoted to explicitly center transgender women of color, and trans and nonbinary youth in survival mode and without traditional systems of support, in their experiences, resiliency, leadership, and wisdom.
