THE BLOOD BANK SERVES AS A TRAINING SITE FOR STUDENTS ENROLLED IN THE MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY PROGRAM AT THE UNIVERSITY OF ALASKA ANCHORAGE. THE BLOOD BANK PROVIDES COUNSELING TO DONORS THAT TEST POSITIVE FOR INFECTIOUS DISEASES.
