AT HER JUSTICE WE TRAIN AND MENTOR VOLUNTEER LAWYERS TO PROVIDE FREE LEGAL HELP TO WOMEN LIVING IN POVERTY IN NEW YORK CITY, AS WELL AS ADDRESS SYSTEMIC LEGAL BARRIERS OUR CLIENTS FACE IN THE COURTS. SINCE 1993, HER JUSTICE HAS HELPED WOMEN LIVING IN POVERTY IN NYC RECEIVE CRITICAL LEGAL ASSISTANCE THAT HELPS THEM ACHIEVE SAFETY, SELF-SUFFICIENCY, AND STABILITY.
