TOO OFTEN, COMMUNITY MEMBERS MUST ENGAGE WITH ONE OF THE "SYSTEMS" (EDUCATIONAL, COURT, OR SOCIAL SERVICES) TO ADDRESS THEIR MENTAL HEALTH AND BEHAVIORAL NEEDS, RESULTING IN SERVICES AND SUPPORT DICTATED BY THE REFERRING ENTITY'S TERMS RATHER THAN THEIR OWN CONDITIONS. THIS INTRODUCTION HAS CONTRIBUTED TO MUCH OF THE COMMUNITY BECOMING WEARY AND DISTRUSTFUL OF SOCIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS AND CONSEQUENTLY, LENDS TO EXACERBATED SUFFERING FROM TRAUMA, ABUSE, AND MISINFORMATION.
