AS A NATIVE-LED ORGANIZATION, NATIVE SUN COMMUNITY POWER DEVELOPMENT PROMOTES RENEWABLE ENERGY, ENERGY EFFICIENCY, AND EQUITABLE ENERGY TRANSITION THROUGH K-12 AND PUBLIC EDUCATION, WORKFORCE TRAINING, AND DEMONSTRATION PROJECTS. OUR VISION IS TO INSTALL SUSTAINABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS ON NATIVE LANDS, TRAIN AND DEPLOY A NATIVE RENEWABLE ENERGY WORKFORCE, EDUCATE TRIBAL YOUTH ABOUT CLIMATE CHANGE AND ENVIRONMENTAL STEWARDSHIP, AND BUILD CIVIC CAPACITY AMONG NATIVE PEOPLE TO LEAD A JUST TRANSITION TO ENERGY SOVEREIGNTY.
