THE ORGANIZATION ALSO PROVIDES SUPPORTIVE HOME-BASED SERVICES, INCLUDING CHARITY CARE. THE AGENCY AND STAFF OFTEN COOPERATE WITH OTHERS TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL SERVICES AND PROGRAMS IN COMMUNITY SETTINGS FOR THE PUBLIC HEALTH AND SAFETY INCLUDING FALL PREVENTION, AS WELL AS EMERGENCY AND PANDEMIC PREPAREDNESS. SUMMITWEST CARE HAS BEEN RECOGNIZED FOR ITS EFFORTS TO ASSIST WITH THE EDUCATION OF NURSES, BUSINESS AND OTHER STUDENTS BY PROVIDING EDUCATIONAL EXPERIENCES FOR STUDENTS FROM HIGH SCHOOL THROUGH COLLEGE.
