THE CENTER FOR MINDBODY MEDICINE, INC. IS A NONPROFIT CORPORATION, ORGANIZED UNDER THE LAWS OF THE DISTRICT OF COLUMBIA DEDICATED TO REVIVING THE SPIRIT AND TRANSFORMING THE PRACTICE OF MEDICINE. THE CENTER'S MISSION IS TO MAKE SELFCARE, SELFAWARENESS AND GROUP SUPPORT CENTRAL TO ALL HEALTH CARE, THE TRAINING OF HEALTH PROFESSIONALS AND THE EDUCATION OR OUR CHILDREN. THE CENTER'S MODEL COMBINES THE PRECISION OF MODERN SCIENCE WITH THE WISDOM OF THE WORLD'S HEALING TRADITIONS, TO HELP HEALTH PROFESSIONALS HEAL THEMSELVES, THEIR PATIENTS AND CLIENTS, AND THEIR COMMUNITIES.THE CENTER FOR MIND-BODY MEDICINE BELIEVES THAT ALL OF US HAVE A GREAT AND LARGELY UNTAPPED CAPACITY TO IMPROVE OUR OWN HEALTH AND WELLBEING THROUGH MIND-BODY APPROACHES, NUTRITION, EXERCISE, AND GROUP SUPPORT
