UNITED WAY OF GREATER NEW HAVEN BRINGS PEOPLE AND ORGANIZATIONS TOGETHER TO CREATE SOLUTIONS TO OUR REGION'S MOST PRESSING CHALLENGES IN THE AREAS OF EDUCATION, HEALTH, AND FINANCIAL STABILITY, GROUNDED IN RACIAL AND SOCIAL JUSTICE. WE MOBILIZE OUR COMMUNITY TO CREATE OPPORTUNITIES FOR PEOPLE TO THRIVE. WE SERVE AS A CATALYST TO EXPAND SERVICES IN OUR COMMUNITY AND MAKE THEM MORE EFFECTIVE; WE ADVOCATE FOR POLICIES THAT IMPROVE LIVES AND CREATE LASTING CHANGE; AND WE CREATE A GREATER SENSE OF CONNECTEDNESS AND SUPPORT FOR THE COMMON GOOD. WE STRIVE TO MEET PEOPLE'S IMMEDIATE NEEDS AND CREATE LONG-TERM SOLUTIONS BECAUSE WE BELIEVE EVERY PERSON DESERVES THE OPPORTUNITY TO LIVE TO THEIR FULL POTENTIAL.
