Support and fund the development of life-saving treatment for patients with pyruvate dehydrogenase complex deficiency and related genetic diseases The activities of the foundation include providing grant funding to hospitals and medical research facilities which are conducting medical research for understanding and treatment of this condition The foundation also provides funding to individuals that assist with early patient identification through newborn screening for this condition.
