MILE HIGH LABRADOR RETRIEVER MISSION
Misión
The Mile High Labrador Retriever Mission is a dog rescue. We are 100% run by unpaid volunteers. We strive to save labrador retrievers and labrador retriever mixes from shelters beyond Colorado's borders. We aim to take possession of these dogs before they are euthanized in overcrowded shelters. We place all dogs in private volunteer foster homes, get them up-to-date with current shots, microchipping, and spay/neuter surgeries, and then list them available for adoption. Potential adopters complete an application process and are screened for potential matches with the dogs we have. All dogs are spayed/neutered before adoption and are up-to-date on vaccinations. We are also in good standing and licensed with Colorado PACFA Licensing. In 2023 we adopted over 600 dogs to new families. In our work, we also aim to educate the public about spay/neutering dogs to prevent unwanted litters and help control/prevent pet overpopulation.
