Misión
NOFA-NJ is an Association of consumers, farmers and gardeners, creating a regionally based organic agricultural system which is economically viable. The corporation's goals are the following:- Increase the number of certified organic farms and acres in organic production.- Protect the integrity of organic certification.- Provide organic farmers and gardeners with technical and market support.- Increase the sales, profits and sustainability of local organic agriculture.- Promote suppliers of local organic products and farm/garden inputs.- Promote consumer awareness of the benefits of locally produced organic products.- Promote a sense of community among those who support organic agriculture.- Disseminate information on legislative, regulatory and policy issues that affect local organic agriculture.
