THE PHILADELPHIA COUNTY DENTAL SOCIETY IS A VOLUNTARY ORGANIZATION COMPRISING MORE THAN 750 MEMBER DENTISTS. IT IS A COMPONENT SOCIETY OF THE AMERICAN DENTAL ASSOCIATION AND THE PENNSYLVANIA DENTAL ASSOCIATION AND WAS ESTABLISHED IN 1886 TO ENCOURAGE THE IMPROVEMENT OF THE ORAL HEALTH OF THE PUBLIC. TO PROMOTE THE ART AND SCIENCE OF DENTISTRY AND TO REPRESENTTHE INTERESTS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE DENTAL PROFESSION AND THE WELFARE OF THE PUBLIC WHICH IT SERVES.
