The Society's Mission Statement: "A network of friends, inspired by Gospel values, growing in holiness in building a more just world through personal relationships with and service to people in need." The St. Mary conference provides financial assistance to those in need in Wayne County, NC. This is typically for housing assistance (rent, mortgage, motel) or utility payments. It may also include other personal expenses such as for medicine, minor home repairs, transportation, etc. In the fiscal year ending 9 30 2023 the conference provided financial assistance 139 times to 130 households with 344 members.
