VAGP is steadfastly dedicated to advancing the field of public purchasing, and is committed to: Promoting professionalism in public purchasing through continued education and networking. Studying, discussing, and recommending legislative improvements in governmental purchasing. Exchanging ideas, experiences, and sharing expert advice on purchasing problems and procedures. The promotion of uniform purchasing laws. Developing and promoting simplified standards and specifications for governmental buying.
