TO ASSURE THAT DERMATOLOGISTS HAVE ACCESS TO THE HIGHEST QUALITY EDUCATION, RESEARCH AND INNOVATIONS IN THE FIELD, AND THAT PATIENTS AND THE PUBLIC HAVE ACCESS TO THE HIGHEST QUALITY MEDICAL AND SURGICAL DERMATOLOGIC CARE AND TO INFORMATION REGARDING PREVENTION, CARE AND TREATMENT OF DERMATOLOGIC CONDITIONS. TO FACILITATE THE EFFICIENT DELIVERY OF QUALITY DERMATOLOGIC CARE, DEVELOP EVIDENCE-BASED CLINICAL GUIDELINES, AND PROMOTE RESEARCH IN AND PREVENTION OF DISEASES OF THE SKIN, HAIR, AND NAILS.
