THE ORGANIZATION IS A VOLUNTARY MEMBER ASSOCIATION WHOSE PURPOSE IS TO PROMOTE THE PISTACHIO INDUSTRY BY FUNDING VARIOUS RESEARCH PROJECTS, MONITORING WORLD PISTACHIO TRADE TO LOOK FOR UNFAIR TRADE PRACTICES, AND MAINTAINING NUTRITIONAL PROMOTION PROGRAMS.
