DRWC'S MISSION IS TO MAINTAIN AND PROMOTE THE USE AND DEVELOPMENT OFTHE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA'S CENTRAL WATERFRONT. THIS TASK IS OF VITALIMPORTANCE TO THE CITY AND ONE WHICH THE CITY WOULD OTHERWISE BEREQUIRED TO PERFORM ITSELF ABSENT THE DRWC.
