Hays Medical Center is a tax-exempt charitable organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is licensed by the State of Kansas Department of Health and Environment. The purpose of the Organization is to provide healthcare facilities and services for the care and treatment of inpatients and outpatients who are acutely ill or who otherwise require medical care and related services. The core purpose of the Organization is to help people be healthy. The Organization is striving to become the best tertiary care center in rural America.
