HIAS IS THE INTERNATIONAL JEWISH NONPROFIT THAT STANDS FOR A WORLD IN WHICH REFUGEES FIND WELCOME, SAFETY, AND OPPORTUNITY.(CONTINUED ON SCHEDULE O)THERE HAVE NEVER BEEN MORE PEOPLE SEEKING SAFETY AND SO FEW PLACES WILLING TO PROTECT AND WELCOME THEM. OVER 120 MILLION PEOPLE ARE FORCIBLY DISPLACED IN THE WORLD TODAY. FOR OVER 100 YEARS, HIAS HAS BEEN THERE FOR REFUGEES WHEN AND WHERE THEY NEED HELP MOST. WE ARE A JEWISH HUMANITARIAN ORGANIZATION THAT WORKS IN THE UNITED STATES AND IN MORE THAN 20 OTHER COUNTRIES, PROVIDING VITAL SERVICES TO REFUGEES AND VULNERABLE MIGRANTS SO THEY CAN REBUILD THEIR LIVES.
