THE JEWISH COUNCIL FOR THE AGING'S (JCA) MISSION IS TO PROVIDE PROGRAMS AND SERVICES TO SUPPORT OLDER ADULTS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND TO BUILD BRIDGES ACROSS GENERATIONS. JCA SERVES PEOPLE OF ALL FAITHS, RACES, ETHNICITIES, AND INCOME LEVELS. JCA IS UNIQUE IN THE RANGE OF PROGRAMS AND ESSENTIAL SERVICES IT OFFERS OLDER ADULTS IN THE GREATER WASHINGTON, D.C. REGION. PEOPLE TURN TO JCA AS A TRUSTWORTHY ADVOCATE AND GUIDE ON THE ISSUES THAT MATTER TO OLDER ADULTS AND THEIR FAMILIES. JCA'S WORK IS CRITICAL TO HELPING PEOPLE AGE WITH DIGNITY, INDEPENDENCE, AND VITALITY. DURING FISCAL YEAR 2024 (JULY 1, 2023 TO JUNE 30, 2024), JCA EXPERIENCED A 26% INCREASE IN THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE THEY SERVED, HELPING 9,193 PEOPLE IN THE GREATER WASHINGTON, D.C. AREA ON THEIR AGING JOURNEY.
