THE PRIMARY MISSION OF THE UNION IS TO ORGANIZE EMPLOYEES AND NEGOTIATE CONTRACTS ON THEIR BEHALF COVERING WAGES, BENEFITS, HOURS, AND CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LAWS, USAGES, AND REQUIREMENTS OF THE IBT, AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE BEST INTERESTS OF THE LABOR MOVEMENT.
