THE CENTER SERVES THE FOLLOWING KANSAS COUNTIES: CHASE, COFFEY, GREENWOOD, LYON, MORRIS, OSAGE AND WABAUNSEE. OFFICES ARE IN PLACE IN EACH OF THOSE COUNTIES. IN THIS CAPACITY, THE CENTER SERVES AS THE PUBLIC SAFETY NET BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE PROVIDER IN THE REGION. THE CENTER IS ONE OF 27 LICENSED CMHCS IN THE STATE OF KANSAS, EACH SERVING A DEFINED CATCHMENT AREA, AND EACH RESPONSIBLE FOR MAKING A STANDARD SET OF SERVICES AVAILABLE TO THE PUBLIC. CRISIS INTERVENTION, EMERGENCY SERVICES, AND EMERGENCY SCREENING SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE 24 HOURS PER DAY, 365 DAYS PER YEAR.
