MARY'S HEALTHCARE SYSTEM FOR CHILDREN, IS COMMITTED TO IMPROVING THE HEALTH AND QUALITY OF LIFE FOR CHILDREN AND YOUNG ADULTS WITH SPECIAL HEALTHCARE NEEDS. A NATIONALLY RECOGNIZED PROVIDER OF SPECIALIZED SERVICES FOR CHILDREN WITH COMPLEX HEALTHCARE NEEDS REQUIRING MEDICAL, REHABILITATION, PSYCHOLOGICAL AND DEVELOPMENTAL INTERVENTION. SMH PROVIDES BOTH SUB-ACUTE AND LONG-TERM CARE SERVICES, AS WELL AS A NUMBER OF HIGHLY SPECIALIZED, TECHNOLOGICALLY SOPHISTICATED HOME-AND COMMUNITY-BASED SERVICES. SMH MAKES REFERRALS TO AND WHEN APPROPRIATE, ACCEPTS ADMISSIONS FROM HOSPITALS AND OTHER PROVIDERS THROUGHOUT THE NEW YORK METROPOLITON AREA AS WELL AS FROM ST.
