TO OPERATE AS A TRUST TO DEFRAY EXPENSES FOR DEVELOPING AND IMPROVING THE PROFICIENCY AND SKILLS OF DRIVERS THROUGH THE DEVELOPMENT OR PROVISION OF UPGRADING AND APPRENTICESHIP PROGRAMS, SAFETY TRAINING AND OTHER TRAINING-RELATED PROGRAMS. RECEIVES CONTRIBUTIONS FROM PARTICIPATING EMPLOYERS SUBJECT TO COLLECTIVELY BARGAINED AGREEMENTS WITH THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF TEAMSTERS (THE UNION).
