THE AGENCY WAS FORMED IN 1965 BY THE PARENTS OF CHILDREN WITH SPECIAL NEEDS FROM WEST, EAST AND CENTRAL CONTRA COSTA COUNTY. SINCE ITS INCEPTION, VISTABILITY HAS EMPHASIZED PARENT AND FAMILY SUPPORT WHILE PROVIDING DIRECT SERVICES AND ADVOCACY FOR CHILDREN AND ADULTS OF ALL AGES WITH INTELLECTUAL AND OTHER DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES INCLUDING AUTISM, CEREBRAL PALSY, EPILEPSY AND OTHER NEUROLOGICAL CONDITIONS. VISTABILITY WORKS TO ENHANCE AND ENRICH THE LIVES OF EVERY INDIVIDUAL SERVED SO THAT THEY CAN ACHIEVE THEIR PERSONAL GOALS, REALIZE THEIR DREAMS, AND PARTICIPATE FULLY IN COMMUNITY LIFE.
