Baptist Health Foundation Greater Louisville is a non-profit, non-stock corporation which operates to promote philanthropy and charitable giving to provide resources to assist, advance, and strengthen Baptist Health Louisville and Baptist Health La Grange hospitals, owned and operated by Baptist Healthcare System, Inc., in fulfilling the mission of the hospitals and Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. to provide quality healthcare services to meet the region's health needs. Baptist Healthcare System, Inc. is described under Section 501(c)(3) and is classified under Section 509(a)(1) as a public charity. The foundation is operated exclusively for the benefit of, to perform the functions of, and to carry out the mission and purposes of Baptist Healthcare System, Inc.
