Misión

The Jefferson County Development Corporation is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote economic development in the area of Jefferson County, Illinois by maintaining resource information, such as workforce data, geographic and demographic information, and building and site information for industrial and commercial leads, coordinates the marketing effort for Jefferson County to attract new jobs to the area and the Corporation also helps existing companies with expansions by coordinating meetings and keeping information on hand as resource information for company expansions and retention. The Jefferson County Development Corporation implements and coordinates programs and initiatives to support and assist the economic growth of the area to provide better paying jobs, improve the education and training of the workforce and to improve the overall quality of life for the citizens of Jefferson County.
