The Potomac Valley Youth Orchestra strives to: Advance and inspire the development of young talented musicians of the Washington, D.C. region by providing intensive training and unparalleled performance opportunities. Actively engage young musicians regardless of age, race, religion, ethnic background, or financial circumstance. Build self-esteem through proficiency and commitment in a nurturing and constructive educational setting. Serve as a cultural resource to the children of our community
