Mission
HOUSING WORKS THRIFT SHOP, INC. WAS ORGANIZED FOR THE BENEFIT OF, TO PERFORM THE FUNCTIONS OF, AND TO CARRY OUT THE PURPOSES OF PROVIDING RELIEF, ASSISTANCE AND FINANCIAL SUPPORT, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY TO HOMELESS PERSONS LIVING WITH AIDS OR HIV-RELATED ILLNESSES. HOUSING WORKS THRIFT SHOPS RECEIVES DONATED GOODS FROM MEMBERS OF THE GENERAL PUBLIC AND SELLS THESE ITEMS FROM THIRTEEN SHOPS LOCATED THROUGHOUT NEW YORK CITY.
