MWHC IS RENOWNED FOR HANDLING THE REGION'S MOST COMPLEX CASES AND OFFERING INNOVATIVE, LIFE-SAVING CARE ACROSS DISCIPLINES. MWHC IS AN ACUTE CARE TEACHING AND RESEARCH HOSPITAL LOCATED IN NORTHWEST WASHINGTON, D.C. IT IS THE LARGEST PRIVATE HOSPITAL IN THE NATION'S CAPITAL AND AMONG THE 50 LARGEST HOSPITALS IN THE NATION. IN FISCAL YEAR 2024, MWHC HAD APPROXIMATELY 33,228 INPATIENT ADMISSIONS AND 453,476 OUTPATIENT VISITS, INCLUDING 78,250 EMERGENCY VISITS.
