1 Promote education by providing older, experienced, underserved and marginalized workers with online and in-person training and job application opportunities to develop digital capabilities and updated skills needed for employment 2 Reduce unemployment, underemployment, and combat discrimination barriers and negative stereotypes by providing middle-aged, experienced and older workers with opportunities in the public and private labor force 3 Lessen a burden of government and reduce the 'brain drain' from the government by providing agencies with the opportunity for flexible re-engagement of experienced and older workers, via cooperative agreements, mentorships, internships, and return to work options.
