Family Promise of Grayson County

Misión

Intersecting faith and community to empower Grayson County families to end child homelessness. Our programs: (1)Rotation: families with children experiencing homelessness sleep in local churches a week or two at a time. We provide beds and congregations provide meals, space, and hospitality. During the day, guests can come to our Day Center, where there are showers, washer and dryer, a play area, a living room, computer access for job searches and online classes, transportation assistance, and case management services; (2) Family HOPE (Housing Opportunities to Prevent Evictions): provides families with rent and utility assistance in order to prevent evictions; and (3) Tabitha House: a transitional home for families needing additional time to meet their financial goals.
