FUNDACION DE MUJERES EN PUERTO RICO
Misión
The Puerto Rico Women's Foundation distributed $636,500 in grants among community-based organizations that serve, organize and advocate for women, girls, and the non-binary community of Puerto Rico. In addition, we began to build a robust capacity building program which included workshops on fundraising, building a development and strategic plan, public speaking, and program management among others. The Foundation hired an Operations Officer to support the operational infrastructure and continue building the policies and protocols of the organization. This year, the Foundation also completed a new strategic plan for the next three years in a participatory process that included grantee partners, funders, and community leaders.
