The Methodist University Cape Fear Valley Health School of Medicine, Inc. (the Corporation) is a North Carolina nonprofit corporation created to operate as a supporting organization of The Methodist University, Inc. (MU or the University), within the meaning of Section 509(a)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended (the Code). MU (Tax ID No. 56-0657294), a Section 501(c)(3) organization classified as a section 170(b)(1)(A)(ii) nonprofit school, operates Methodist University, a private university located in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
