SAG-AFTRA Digital Transition Impact

Misión

The Fund is established to promote joint labor-management efforts to collect and distribute contributions made to a fund setup for Performers. The contributions are related to digital platforms for Performers negatively impacted by changes to traditional media. The Commercials Contract requires Employers to make contributions to a Digital Transition Impact Mitigation Fund for Performers negatively impacted by the recalibration of traditional media exhibition formulas agreed to as part of the reallocation of compensation to digital platforms, pursuant to the terms set forth in the Commercials Contract (SAG-AFTRA and the JPC are parties to a collective bargaining agreement known as the 2022 SAG-AFTRA Commercials Contract).
