The specific purpose of Southern California Fellows Foundation, Inc. shall be to promote, encourage, foster and advance the art and science of orthopedic medicine, with a focus on shoulder surgery and matters related thereto; to establish a forum for free discussion and teaching of orthopedic methods and principles among the members; to advance patient care and research affecting the practice of orthopedic surgery in the United States of America; and to inform the public as to the nature of orthopedic medicine in the total health care system.
