FOR MORE THAN 100 YEARS, OUR MISSION HAS BEEN TO MAKE LIFE BETTER FOR CHILDREN. SINCE OUR HUMBLE BEGINNINGS IN 1913 AS THE FIRST FREE "BABY CAMP" IN THE SOUTHWEST, AN OPEN-AIR TENT HOSPITAL DEDICATED TO THE CARE OF BABIES, WE HAVE MAINTAINED A COMMITMENT TO OUR COMMUNITY THAT INCLUDES NOT ONLY HIGH-QUALITY PATIENT CARE BUT ALSO ADVOCACY, EDUCATION AND PREVENTIVE CARE WITH AN UNWAVERING FOCUS ON OUR MISSION. CHILDREN'S HEALTH IS THE LEADING PEDIATRIC HEALTH CARE SYSTEM IN NORTH TEXAS AND ONE OF THE LARGEST PEDIATRIC HEALTH CARE PROVIDERS IN THE NATION. A PRIVATE, NOT-FORPROFIT ORGANIZATION, CHILDREN'S HEALTH IS ANCHORED BY TWO FULL-SERVICE HOSPITALS. THE SYSTEM INCLUDES AN EXTENSIVE NETWORK OFFERING SPECIALTY, URGENT, PRIMARY AND VIRTUAL CARE, AS WELL AS MUCH MORE, TO THE CHILDREN OF NORTH TEXAS AND BEYOND. IN ADDITION, CHILDREN'S HEALTH IS THE OFFICIAL PEDIATRIC TEACHING HOSPITAL FOR UT SOUTHWESTERN MEDICAL CENTER'S MEDICAL SCHOOL.
